Our Security team works to create and maintain the safest operating environment for Google's users and developers. Security Engineers work with network equipment and actively monitor our systems for attacks and intrusions. In this role, you will also work with software engineers to proactively identify and fix security flaws and vulnerabilities. Project Zero is a vendor-agnostic security research team housed within Google. The team aims to improve user security and increase the cost of targeted attacks by conducting industry leading security research. Our mission is to make zero-day exploits hard. Project Zero team members perform vulnerability research on security-critical software, and use their research results to drive industry-wide defensive improvements. We build tooling to scale security research, and create new methodologies for discovering high impact security vulnerabilities.
